SugarGlitch — Prohibited Content Policy

Last Modified: April 20, 2026

This Prohibited Content Policy is published by SugarGlitch Ltd, a Cyprus private limited company ("SugarGlitch," "we," "our," or "us"), and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

SugarGlitch is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for our users. This Policy describes the categories of content that are not allowed on the Services. It applies to all Content on the platform, regardless of format — including text, images, audio, video, prompts, Characters, Generations, profile fields, usernames, and anything else a user submits, generates, or shares.

Some categories below are always prohibited for all users and in all contexts. Others apply specifically within otherwise-permitted NSFW (Not-Safe-for-Work) content for users 18 and older. Both sets of rules apply.

Additional rules and restrictions are set out in our Terms of Service, Underage Policy, and other policies.

1. Always Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following categories are prohibited on the Services in all forms and at all times. These prohibitions apply regardless of artistic style, fictional framing, stated age, or any "for educational/research/parody" justification.

1.1 Sexual Exploitation of Minors and CSAM

Content that depicts, describes, suggests, or facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of any minor is strictly prohibited. This includes, without limitation:

  • Child sexual abuse material ("CSAM") in any form
  • Sexual or sexualized depictions of any person or character under 18
  • AI-generated, animated, illustrated, drawn, written, or otherwise stylized depictions of minors in sexual contexts
  • "Aged-up" versions of characters who are canonically minors in their source material
  • Characters whose stated age is 18+ but whose visual or narrative presentation is that of a minor
  • Grooming content, sexual extortion of minors, or content designed to normalize the sexual abuse of minors
  • Solicitation of, or solicitation directed at, minors for sexual purposes

We report violations involving CSAM to the relevant authorities (including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where applicable) and cooperate with law enforcement.

1.2 Non-Consensual Sexual Content Involving Real People

Content that depicts a real, identifiable person in a sexual or intimate context without their verifiable consent is prohibited. This includes:

  • "Deepfakes," face-swaps, body-swaps, or other AI-generated sexual content depicting real persons
  • Sexual or intimate Characters or Generations based on a real person's name, likeness, voice, or distinguishing features without that person's consent
  • Image-based sexual abuse, "revenge porn," or non-consensual intimate imagery, whether real or synthetic
  • Content depicting an identifiable private individual in a sexual scenario, even if the depiction is described as fictional

This applies to public figures, celebrities, and private individuals alike. Non-commercial parody, satire, and public commentary that does not depict the subject in sexual or intimate contexts are not prohibited by this section, but other restrictions in this Policy still apply.

1.3 Trafficking and Exploitation

Content that promotes, facilitates, advertises, or constitutes any form of human trafficking, sexual servitude, forced labor, or commercial sexual exploitation is prohibited. This includes content that solicits or arranges paid sexual encounters, escort services, or "sugar arrangements" through the Services.

1.4 Violence, Terrorism, and Real-World Harm

Content that:

  • Promotes, glorifies, or incites real-world violence, terrorism, or violent extremism
  • Depicts gratuitous gore, mutilation, torture, or graphic violence presented for shock value
  • Provides operational instructions for weapons, explosives, or other means of causing mass harm
  • Threatens, targets, or coordinates harm against any real, identifiable person or group

is prohibited. Fictional violence consistent with mainstream literature and media (e.g., narrative conflict, action sequences) is generally permitted, but is subject to the rest of this Policy.

1.5 Hate Speech and Targeted Harassment

Content that demeans, dehumanizes, threatens, or incites violence or discrimination against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics is prohibited. Coordinated harassment, targeted bullying, doxxing, or campaigns to silence or intimidate any individual are likewise prohibited.

1.6 Self-Harm, Suicide, and Eating Disorders (Glorification)

Content that promotes, glorifies, instructs, or encourages suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders is prohibited. This includes "thinspo," "meanspo," "pro-ana"/"pro-mia" content, methods or instructions for self-harm, and content that frames self-harm as desirable or aspirational.

Discussion of these topics in a recovery, educational, supportive, or fictional-narrative context is not prohibited by this section, but Characters and Generations should not coach users toward, normalize, or romanticize self-destructive behavior.

1.7 Illegal Conduct

Content that:

  • Solicits, advertises, facilitates, or instructs the commission of crimes
  • Offers, advertises, or arranges the sale of illegal drugs, controlled substances, weapons regulated by law, stolen goods, or counterfeit currency
  • Provides operational instructions for cybercrime (malware creation, network intrusion, credential theft, fraud, money laundering)
  • Otherwise violates applicable law

is prohibited.

1.8 Privacy Violations

Content that:

  • Discloses another person's private personal information without their consent (such as home address, phone number, email, government identifiers, financial information, medical information, or precise location)
  • Captures or shares intimate images of any person without their consent
  • Stalks, surveils, or monitors any person without their consent

is prohibited.

1.9 Intellectual Property Infringement

Content that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, or other intellectual property right is prohibited. This includes Characters or Generations designed to reproduce or substitute for copyrighted works, brand identities, or fictional characters owned by others without authorization. Fair-use commentary, transformative parody, and other uses authorized under applicable law are not prohibited by this section.

1.10 Fraud, Spam, and Manipulation

Content that constitutes:

  • Phishing, scams, fraudulent solicitations, or deceptive financial schemes
  • Unsolicited commercial messaging, spam, or repetitive promotional content
  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior, including operating multiple accounts to manipulate platform features
  • Election or political misinformation designed to mislead voters about voting procedures or candidates' positions
  • Health misinformation that could cause physical harm

is prohibited.

1.11 Circumvention of Safety Controls

Content or activity that:

  • Circumvents, defeats, or instructs others how to defeat our age-gating, NSFW classification, content filters, rate limits, or other safety measures
  • Probes the Services for safety vulnerabilities for purposes other than authorized security research
  • Uses jailbreak prompts, adversarial inputs, or other techniques to elicit otherwise-prohibited content from our Characters or models

is prohibited.

1.12 Impersonation

Content that impersonates SugarGlitch staff, government officials, law enforcement, or any real person in a manner intended to deceive is prohibited.

2. Prohibited Within NSFW Content

NSFW content is permitted on the Services for users 18 years of age or older (or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher), subject to age-gating procedures described in our Underage Policy. Within otherwise-permitted NSFW content, the following remain prohibited:

2.1 Anything Listed in Section 1

All Section 1 prohibitions apply within NSFW content. The 18+ designation does not unlock any of the Section 1 categories. CSAM is prohibited regardless of any user's age, attestation, or content classification.

2.2 Bestiality

Sexual or sexualized content depicting humans engaged in sexual activity with animals, or sexualized depictions of animals, is prohibited.

2.3 Necrophilia

Sexual or sexualized content involving corpses or themes of sexual contact with the dead is prohibited.

2.4 Incest Involving Minors

Sexual content depicting incest involving any party who is, or is depicted as, a minor is prohibited under Section 1.1.

2.5 Sexual Violence and Non-Consent Advocacy

Content that depicts rape or other non-consensual sexual acts approvingly, that frames sexual violence as desirable, or that instructs or encourages users to commit sexual violence is prohibited. Consensual non-consent ("CNC") and similar fantasy themes between adult characters in clearly fictional contexts are not prohibited by this section, but content must not advocate for, normalize, or instruct real-world sexual violence.

2.6 Other Content Prohibited by Law

Content that is illegal in jurisdictions where SugarGlitch operates (including under Cyprus and EU law) is prohibited within NSFW content as well.

3. What Is Permitted

For clarity: NSFW content involving consenting adult characters, in a fictional or roleplay context, that does not fall within any prohibited category in Sections 1 or 2, is generally permitted on the Services for users 18 and older. SugarGlitch does not prohibit adult sexual content as a category, and our enforcement is directed at the specific harms identified above — not at adult content generally.

If you are unsure whether something is permitted, err on the side of not generating or sharing it, and contact us at [email protected] for clarification.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the Content you submit, the prompts you write, the Characters you create, and the Generations you elicit. AI-generated outputs are produced based on the inputs and parameters you provide, and SugarGlitch does not pre-approve or endorse any specific output. Your interactions with Characters and other Services features must comply with applicable law, our Terms of Service, this Policy, and our other policies.

You acknowledge that you must evaluate any Generation before sharing, downloading, or otherwise relying on it, and that you bear all risks associated with your use of the Services and any Content or Generations.

5. Detection and Moderation

We use a combination of automated systems (including classifiers and prompt filters), user reports, and human review to enforce this Policy. Our content review processes are described in our Pre-Screening and Post-Screening Policy and our Content Moderation Policy.

Automated systems are imperfect. They may flag content that does not actually violate this Policy, and may fail to flag content that does. We rely on human review for consequential enforcement decisions wherever practicable.

6. Consequences of Violation

Depending on severity and circumstances, violations of this Policy may result in:

  • Removal of the offending Content
  • Restriction or revocation of access to specific features (such as NSFW access or generation features)
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of unused Credits or subscription benefits
  • Reporting to law enforcement and applicable authorities, including in the case of CSAM, trafficking, threats of violence, or other illegal conduct
  • Civil or criminal referral as appropriate

We may also take action against users who attempt to violate this Policy, even if the attempt is unsuccessful (for example, by repeatedly attempting prompts that target prohibited categories).

For details on how Content is removed and how decisions can be appealed, see our Content Removal Policy and Complaint Policy.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter Content on the Services that you believe violates this Policy, please report it to us at [email protected] with the subject line "Content Report." Include:

  • A description of the Content
  • Where you encountered it (URL, Character name, etc., as applicable)
  • Why you believe it violates this Policy
  • Any supporting screenshots or other documentation

For suspected CSAM, you may also report directly to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org or to the relevant authority in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, our practices, or the features of the Services. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this Policy.
